My client in looking for 2 Licensed Physical Therapists for three different outpatient clinics. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office /> Under the general and direct supervision of the Physical Therapy Director. Provides therapeutic patient care based on current diagnosis and past medical history. Individual has graduated from an accredited Physical Therapist curriculum, approved by the Commision on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education. Individual demonstrates proof of eligibility for employment in the <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags /><st1:place w:st=on><st1:country-region w:st=on>USA</st1:country-region></st1:place>. Individual is fluent in English language, both written and verbal. Individual demonstrates proof of licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state they are currently employed in. <H1 style=MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt>II RESPONSIBILITIES</H1> Review patient records for current diagnosis, past medical history, precautions and contraindications. Schedule patients in advance for appointments. Adhere to verbal agreement with patients as to appointment time (s). Establish safe work environment at each session, free from distractions or obstacles. Perform patient evaluation, including all pertinent tests and measurements appropriate for required documentation in a timely manner, and set plan of care based on physician's orders and evaluation findings. Provide therapeutic interventions as specified in plan of care to assigned patients in a timely and within the scope of licensure. Instruct patients in home exercise programs, transfer training, positioning, and safety issues.
